Short version: the only personal data this site handles is an email address on the wheel, it is never stored, and no marketing is ever sent to it. There is no mailing list.

Who is responsible

The data controller is:

support@opsnode.app

Write to support@opsnode.app about anything on this page.

What is collected, and why

Your email address, on the wheel

It is turned into a one-way hash that becomes your discount code. That is how the same address gets the same code back instead of a second spin. The address itself is never written to a database and cannot be recovered from the code.

Pre-contractual steps at your request, Art 6(1)(b)

Your spin result, in your own browser

Kept in this browser only, so reloading the page gives you your code back instead of an empty wheel. It never reaches us. Clearing your browser data deletes it.

Strictly necessary for what you asked for

Ordinary server logs

IP address and request details, kept briefly by our hosting so the site can be run and abuse can be stopped.

Legitimate interests, Art 6(1)(f)

There are no analytics, no advertising pixels and no third-party trackers on this site.

Who else sees it

Two companies process data on our behalf, each under their own data processing agreement:

  • Whop takes the payment and is the merchant of record, and stores the discount code itself. When you buy, they hold your billing details under their own privacy policy rather than this one.
  • Cloudflare serves the site and runs the code behind the wheel.

How long it is kept

The email address is not retained at all. Discount codes expire fifteen minutes after they are made and are deleted periodically after that. Server logs follow our hosts’ own retention, a matter of days. Purchase records sit with Whop, and we keep what Danish bookkeeping law requires, which is five years.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask for a copy of your data, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to processing based on legitimate interests, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to support@opsnode.app and you will have an answer within a month.

In practice there is usually nothing to hand over, because the address was never stored. That is rather the point of building it that way.

If you are unhappy with how that goes, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency at datatilsynet.dk.

Changes

If this page changes in any way that matters, the date at the top changes with it.
