Terms

Last updated 15 September 2026

Plain English, and short, because there is not much to say. Buying OpsTake means agreeing to what is on this page.

Who you are buying from

support@opsnode.app

Payment is taken by Whop, who act as merchant of record. They handle the transaction, the invoice and any VAT due in your country, and their terms cover that part.

What you get

  • OpsTake for Windows, the desktop recorder described on the front page. Windows 10 and 11 only.
  • A licence key, by email, within seconds of paying.
  • Five computers, on the one licence.
  • One payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews. The version you buy stays yours.

It records the desktop, a single window, or one monitor. It is not built for fullscreen games, and the front page says so before you buy.

Price

The price shown at checkout is what you pay, in full. Whop adds any local sales tax or VAT at that screen, so the total is visible before you enter a card, never after.

Refunds

Thirty days, no questions asked. If it does not do what the front page says it does, reply to your receipt with the word refund within 30 days of buying. No form, no reason needed, no conversation about it. The money goes back the way it came.

That is a promise we made because it is the right way to sell a twenty dollar utility, and it is wider than anything the law requires of us.

Underneath it sits your statutory right, which we are not allowed to reduce and would not want to. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK you have 14 days to withdraw from a distance purchase without giving any reason. We do not ask you to waive that right in order to download immediately, which some sellers do. You keep it, and then you also keep the 30 days on top.

Either way the route is the same: email support@opsnode.app, or reply to your receipt.

If it does not work

The software has to match its description and keep working. If a Windows update breaks it, that is ours to fix, not yours to live with, and you are entitled to a repair or your money back. Tell us at support@opsnode.app.

The wheel

The spin wheel on the front page sets your price. Its rules, in full:

  • One spin per person. The result comes from the server and is tied to the address you gave, so reloading the page returns the same result rather than a new one.
  • Every slice can land. Nothing on the dial is decoration. The outcomes are weighted, not all equally likely, but each one is genuinely reachable including the best and the worst.
  • 15 minutes. The code carries a real expiry. When the clock reaches zero the code stops working at checkout, and the product is available at its normal price.
  • Free to enter. Spinning costs nothing and does not require a purchase.
  • One code, one use. It is personal to you and cannot be used twice or passed on.

Your data

Covered on the privacy page. Briefly: the address you spin with is hashed into your code and never stored, and there is no mailing list to end up on.

What we are not liable for

OpsTake records your screen to a file on your computer. What you record, and whether you had the right to record it, is yours to judge. Our liability is limited to what you paid, except where the law does not allow that limit, which includes death, personal injury and fraud.

Complaints

Email support@opsnode.app first and you will get a real answer. If that does not settle it, a consumer in Denmark can take the matter to the Danish Consumer Complaints Board at forbrug.dk. A consumer elsewhere in the EU can go through their national European Consumer Centre.

Law

Danish law governs these terms. If you are a consumer, that does not take away the protections you have under the law of the country you live in, and it never can.
